Rejuveneyes Using Sublative Technology

What is it?

Sublative Rejuven-eyes uses fractionated bipolar radio-frequency energies to treat ageing skin around the eyes. It targets the upper dermis around the whole circumference of the eye area to treat wrinkles and lax skin, offering fine line and wrinkle reduction, a more uniform smooth skin surface and a tighter, lifted brow. The treatment is highly effective, safe and technologically proven.

Results Achieved

Better quality skin around this fragile, delicate area.

This is achieved by boosting the production of collagen and elastin fibres. The result is achieved gradually as new fibres are stimulated and laid down in the skin. The results are present two to three months after treatment and continue strengthening for six to eight months.

Common Queries Regarding This Procedure

How does it work?

It works by radio frequency energy being precisely directed to the skin in the form of a matrix. Tiny access perforations are created on the surface of the skin as the energy accesses the deeper layers. Once the energies penetrate, they spread deep and wide, which means we get a lot of stimulation deep in the skin with minimal trauma to the surface.   Healthy skin around these perforations accelerates the healing process of the skin, resulting in a significant increase in collagen and elastin production.

How long does it last?

These treatments are delivered in courses of 3, and often a booster session every 6-12 months would be indicated to continue stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

Looking after your skin and protecting it from environmental and lifestyle factors will improve the outcome.

For whom is it not suitable?

It is suitable for all skin types.

Are there any cautions/contra-indications?

Avoid using retinol products 1 week prior to having the treatment.  This treatment shouldn't carried out on newly tanned skin.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

Yes – it enhances aesthetic injectable treatments. Stimulated skin improves the quality of the skin, thus improving the 'canvas' for injectable treatments to be more effective.

Having rejuvenated eyes can be further boosted by eyelash enhancement treatment and Browjam eyebrow design. Retinol based eye-cream supports the treatment by continually stimulating the skin.

Is it sore?

There is a very quick pinch feeling into the skin which lasts for a second. Afterwards the area can feel tender due to the heat, although a cold compress quickly reduces this.

What is it used to treat?

Skin around the eyes showing visible signs of ageing.

Is it safe?

It is completely safe. Fractionated Bi-polar energy is used which is invisible, and is therefore suitable to use around the delicate eye area.

What is the recovery time?

The skin can have a mild sunburn appearance and the points where the energy penetrates the skin can show the appearance of small dots. Swelling can be a side effect although the risk is greatly reduced by using a cold compress following treatment.

1 - 3 days.

Following treatment, the skin will be cooled to reduce the heat at the surface. We recommend that you also keep the area cool using a cold compress and hydrating eye cream, as the skin will dry slightly. A high SPF and avoidance of direct sunlight are very important.
